Babies do wear pants

When Katherine was about 4-5 months pregnant, she had a bit of a meltdown about the coming responsibility of raising a child and our combined complete lack of knowledge of how do raise a child. It manifested itself in a panicked question to me: "Do babies wear pants? I have no idea if babies wear pants."

We have now answered that question.

And to go with the pants is an especially apt shirt that was purchased long before the birth. It describes our little guy quite nicely, especially as he looks in this picture.

Naps are very popular around these parts currently.

It's just that Jack does not like to nap, or sleep at all for that matter, in his crib. On a chair, on a chest, in someone's arms, on the bed, in bed with us, in his car seat, no problem. Put him down in his crib and he is awake and crying in about 2 minutes.

Unless Diana puts him in his crib. Then he tends to sleep fine. Katherine surmised that maybe Jack feels that even his crib is better than Diana holding him. Katherine is mean.
