Queens Park is fit for...well, a Princess

So hotel staff called to say that we needed to close our shades. It seems that Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn was going to be arriving at the park, named Queen's Park, for an event, and our 39th floor windows just happened to look down on the park. Security and all.

We complied, of course. We are nothing if not cooperative. Then we threw Jack into his sling and headed down to see the Princess. She is probably the most well-loved offspring of the King and Queen, so she draws a crowd.

There she is, somewhere in the distance under that tent, enjoying a lovely concert in the park to benefit the Red Cross (or something like that).

And there she goes in her yellow dress. Soon after I took this picture a cop told me, very politely I might add, that taking pictures of the Princess is not allowed. He didn't explain why it was so.
