We went a few KM down the road to visit the village where the farmer who owned the land lives. As this village is off the main road about 10 KM and not on any tourist route, we quickly drew a crowd. Not alot of foreign visitors, probably. It was an ethnic Katu village. They live on both sides of the Lao/Vietnam border. They are called Montagnards in Vietnam. Check out the pipe the one woman is smoking.
