Birthday Party

Because our little tyrant had his birthday on Tuesday, we decided to have a small party for him today. Small became large, then large became huge, then huge became unwieldly. 15 kids, 17 adults.

But, there were moments of calm...

...and a delicious cake decorated by what is clearly a person with vast, VAST experience with cake decoration...

...and then there was cake eating...

...and hugs...

...and chaos...

...and chaos with balloons...

...and at the end of the day, there was a tired 2 year old eating cake crumbs off the floor.

Pretty much just as we planned it.

Wish we could have been there! Love Jack eating crumbs off the floor...reminds me of what Gretchen likes to do these days.
