DMZ

Time for bed. Will post a few more pictures of the DMZ later this weekend.

But for now....(assuming Military Escort's syntax as he briefed us in the negotiation building that straddles North and South Korea)

THIS SOLDIER IS HERE TO ENSURE THAT THE UN FLAG IS UNDISTURBED. YOU MAY APPROACH THE FLAG AND THE SOLDIER BUT DO NOT TOUCH THEM. YOU WILL NOTICE THAT THE SOLDIER IS STANDING WITH A READY TAE KWON DO POSE. IF YOU ATTEMPT TO TOUCH THE FLAG, HE WILL TOTALLY THROTTLE YOU. IF YOU TOUCH HIM, IT WILL BE SEEN AS AN ACT OF AGGRESSION AND HE WILL THROTTLE YOU.

IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO BE THROTTLED, DO NOT TOUCH THE FLAG OR THE SOLDIER. YOU WILL NOTICE THAT ALL OF THE SOLDIERS HERE ARE TALLER THAN AVERAGE KOREANS. THAT IS SO THAT THEY CAN MORE EASILY THROTTLE THOSE THAT ATTEMPT TO TOUCH THEM OR THE FLAG.
