I played with Soukanh, an FSN in my section, as my partner, Tom, was off riding helicopters in the far North to attend an Opium Free ceremony (Laos is now, er, officially opium free) instead of attending to important matters like the consolation round of an embassy badminton tournament. This picture could never have been anything but blurry because I was moving so darn fast (darn for those readers that get the vapors when I use language stronger than golly-gee or for goodness' sake...yes, I'm talking to you Marilyn).

We lost anyway, despite my blistering speed. But I think the other guys cheated somehow. I just can't figure out how.
