Yes, but not really

update: again, in the light of day and all, I'm not sure what this post was all about. Not to mention the title. Too much wine last night.

So many people (yes, I am talking to you) think Badminton is a garden-party game, like croquet (I'm really not intentionally inviting the int'l croquet association's ire, just think it's more a garden party game), but it's really not.

So it's 2:30 am and I'm sitting up watching badminton on TV. There's other stuff on too (including a show called Hell Squad on HBO, a movie called Those Bedroom Eyes, starring Otter, from Animal House, and some other movie, but nothing so compelling as badminton on TV.

But seriously. Competitive Badminton: Try watching it on TV sometime. You'll know what the game is all about. Or, maybe like me, you'll watch and think...I could do that.

It's not true, by the way. You can't do that. It's actually quite impossible.

Really time for bed.
