An Akha woman with a mouth full of betel nut followed me around for about 20 minutes, trying to get me to buy some of her stuff, including either pot or opium, I can't be sure which, not speaking a lick of Akha. Anyway, Katherine finally bought a little bag from her, which made her happy, giving us a big smile of red teeth.
