It was the end of Buddhist Lent celebration in Muang Ngoi Kao (Old Ngoi Town) when we got there for the night. I got my fortune, but unfortunately couldn't read it, even by the monk's candle light, as it was in faded Lao. I assume my fortune said something about facial disfigurement in the near future (read earlier post)
