The Nam Ngum Dam, in all its glory....

I have actually yet to visit the large, and, I'm told, beautiful, Nam Ngum reservior that the dam has created, except for a very small part near the Dansavanh golf course. As I am leaving for Bangkok on Thursday and returning with a precious little bundle of responsibility, it's unlikely we will visit anytime soon.
